After using prostate massagers (Progasm) for a few years I decided to take the plunge and try a butt plug. Up to this point the widest toy that I had used was the Aneros Progasm so I decided to try a medium size anal plug to be on the safe side. The Doc Johnson butt plug is a 1-3/4″ diameter at its widest point which was not at all intimidating. It is made out of a rubbery resin that is fairly flexible and has a flared base. To warm up and relax I used the Aneros Helix for about 5 minutes before attempting to insert the plug. After applying generous amounts of lube it went in fairly easily.
The feeling of fullness once the plug is all the way in is very different compared to the prostate massagers that I am used to but it was fantastic. Once I was penetrated, since it was so well lubed I spun it around 360 degrees while masturbating and the feeling was amazing. I actually had to take a break so that I would not climax too soon.
Another trick is to pull this out right at the time of climax and your orgasm will be through the roof. I had to do everything I could not to make too much noise and alert my wife to what I was doing. During some sessions I pulled down on the plug slightly to apply more pressure to my prostate. I am definitely glad that I decided to experiment with a butt plug and since I got the medium one I may try out a larger size in the near future.
I highly recommend this butt plug and believe it is a good addition to any collection of prostate massagers.

As a self-described prostate massage expert and veteran all I can say is that I love the good old-fashioned butt plug. It took me about 3 years of using various prostate massagers before I decided to try it out and I have never looked back. When inserting it, it is very important to use a large amount of your favorite lubricant. It is also important to relax and not force it in but to breathe deeply and insert slowly.
The feeling and tingling sensation that occurs once you fully open up and your anal muscles start clenching and quivering around the plug is pure ecstasy. My favorite part of the experience is when the widest point of the plug is inserted. During some of my more intense masturbation sessions I will start out with the Pfun, go to the Helix, then go the Progasm, and cap it off with the plug. Right at climax I sometime pull out the butt plug or push it out and the orgasm is beyond words. So all I can say is try it out. Life is too short! Trust me you will not want to masturbate without something in your ass ever again!

I have to agree. I got the vibrating version. I find it easier to insert for some reason. I can’t yet climax with it though. I end up sucking it in more and that has been painful. But getting to climax has been a blast. I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Over all it was a great purchas.
In my opinion the fullness of the butt plug is second to none. And I am a heterosexual male.
I never thought in a million years that I would use a butt plug but after experimenting with various prostate massagers I thought I would try one. I agree 100% with the review this is a nice change of pace and feels wonderful.
